Aussie Jack’s GREAT AUSTRALIAN SEX SURVIVAL GUIDE
Bush baby boomer, Aussie Jack, examines the sex guides of different eras and decides to expose himself!
Jack, a graduate of the ‘University of the Curious Mind’, reckons the world needs a bushie’s view from ‘Down Under’ if it’s going to survive the plethora of sex advice flooding the globe. This is Jack’s sex survival kit.
Aussie Jack on puberty problems:
Well I became fairly certain that that was the case as I travelled home from school on buses crammed with peering passengers. I couldn’t control the thing; it just grew; like a miracle plant that requires no special nurturing, it rose rapidly like an emerging volcano. And I was certain everyone could see it!
Aussie Jack on early sex guides:
Well there are many sections of this manual that make the Arabic sex advice intriguing, but I give the book the ‘thumbs up’ for the specific advice that sex partners need to end up pleasing each other. Right on!
The old sage obviously saw nothing wrong with a holistic approach. As for this preoccupation with the word member, maybe the bloke was a politician, because I’ve often heard people say that their local member was a real prick!
Aussie Jack on his own experiences:
So there we were, a threesome. Well, Jeff had already told me that was the plan. First we had a few beers and talked a little about ourselves and I listened with interest as Sandra explained that she had come north from Melbourne where she had held a high-powered secretarial job in a law firm because she wanted to live in a more open society where people were more relaxed and able to fulfil their desires. It may have been my active imagination but I could have sworn that she had swished the towel to open it a little wider as she talked about feeling freer living in Queensland.
Comments from Les Thompson:
Thank you for the kind emails and on-line chats about this book. There are some very amusing questions that people have raised with me – some thinking that I may have met them and that they were the real source or should I say sauce for parts of the book. I can only say that if you can match the real-life adventures described in this book, you must have led a very interesting life.

MEDIA & COMMUNICATION SKILLS MADE EASY
In his book, Les gives some invaluable advice as to how to improve one’s communication skills. Although the book is mainly aimed at people who want to try their luck in broadcasting and media, it proves virtually universal. Being an EFL teacher, I generally read methodology and linguistic books, but Les’s volume shows that one can also find useful answers outside the field. Les has convinced me how important it is to make people listen to what one needs to say (e.g. that certain ways of communicating are better than others, and that lazy speech will not be tolerated, while a foreign accent will). Les argues that good speech habits are easy to learn and apply – this is good news for everybody who was not born a great speaker/writer. Finally, the motto: “People who do what they enjoy are the most successful in the long term” will certainly appeal to everyone who likes doing things passionately and enthusiastically.
